Oceans Apart, Prayers Aligned: Divine Choreography

Okay, confession time: I’m not a blogger. Like, at all. But I do love sharing stories—especially the kind that make you go “WHOA, God, you really did that?!” So here I am, typing away like I’ve been doing this for years. Let’s see how this goes… bwhahahaha

Earlier today, I was reading a blog post by our new friends Daniel and Paige (shoutout to you two awesome humans!) who just landed here in Caruban. And something they wrote hit me right in the feels. Let me quote a bit:

“On a really cool note, the teacher of our Bible study mentioned how she had been praying for some help. She's been leading the group for 2 years and the kids can be pretty exhausting. Laughing all the time. So she was really thankful her prayers have been answered—that not only does she have help now, but she has 2 native speakers. (The Bible study is in English and Bahasa). The same prayers were answered for us. We needed a church and some friends, and found them both in the first week. God is Amazing.”

Cue the goosebumps.

I mean… how amazing is that?! God didn’t just answer one prayer—He answered multiple prayers in one divine swoop!!!!

Here we are, from different corners of the world, somehow ending up in the same little town, at the same time, with the same needs—and boom, we’re part of each other’s answered prayers. That’s not coincidence, that’s divine choreography.

So yeah, I’m just sitting here in awe, grinning like a goofball, and feeling grateful beyond words. (But clearly not beyond typing, because here we are.)

God is good. All the time. Even in Caruban. Especially in Caruban.

The end! _
